Cocktail in honor of the King of Baião. Luiz Gonzaga do Nascimento (Exu, December 13, 1912 – Recife, August 2, 1989) was a Brazilian composer and singer. Known as the King of Baião, he was considered one of the most complete, important and creative figures in Brazilian popular music. In 1946, Luiz returned to his hometown of Exu for the first time, and was reunited with his parents, who had not heard from their son for years.The reunion with his father is narrated in his composition Respeita Januário, in partnership with Humberto Teixeira. It was created by Bruno Cabral for Arapuru Desafia.

Ingredients

35ml of Arapuru Gin
15ml of Cachaça
50ml sugarcane juice
20ml cashew syrup
10ml tahiti lemon
1 slice of dehydrated cashew

How to prepare

Pour the ingredients into a shaker and shake with ice. Serve in a low glass with simple straining finished with dehydrated cashews as a garnish.
